On June 3, 2015, Kessler Foundation and the University of New Hampshire announced the results of the National Employment and Disability Survey on Capitol Hill.

Results from the 2015 Kessler Foundation National Employment & Disability Survey were announced on June 3rd, on Capitol Hill. The survey, which was conducted by the University of New Hampshire, identifies strategies that Americans with disabilities use to search for work and navigate barriers, accommodations that are helpful to obtain and maintain employment, and factors that contribute to unemployment. The main finding: Amricans with disabilities are striving to work and overcoming barriers to enter the workforce. We anticipate that survey results will help policymakers and leaders in the disability field as they develop programs that improve employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
