The purpose of the Research Review Committee (RRC) is to enhance the scientific quality of research proposals. The Committee’s major function is to ensure that research proposals prepared by investigators meet the highest scientific and ethical standards. The RRC provides feedback on research plans, which may include information regarding background, protocol, analysis plan, and more. The RRC helps ensure the study meets research standards and provides peer review and practice in responding to professional critiques.
- For submissions to the RRC, review the Research Review Committee Guide. Samples of various research study protocols are available upon request from the IRB Office.
