Noted Dutch MS scientist gives 2013 Baird Lecture

Prof. Jeroen Geurts presented research on gray matter and cognition

On November 21, Kessler Foundation welcomed its 2013 Baird Lecturer, noted MS researcher Prof.dr. Jeroen Geurts. Dr. Geurts chairs the department of Anatomy and Neurosciences at VU Medical Centre, Amsterdam where he is  Professor of Translational Neuroscience.  Dr. Geurts presented his research on the clinical impact of grey matter damage in MS and its role in cognitive decline.  The Baird Lecture series is a professional educational series sponsored annually by Kessler Foundation.  Dr. Geurts met with Dr. John DeLuca, VP for Research & Training, after the lecture.
