Article in The Record on Employment for Veterans Highlights the G.I. Go Fund, Supported by Kessler Foundation

The December 1st article, "N.J. employers pilot new ways to recruit veterans," by Linda Moss, explains the struggle veterans face when returning home and trying to find employment, the importance of hiring veterans and the value they add to the workplace, and programs that are committed to hiring veterans. The article highlights the Newark-based G.I. Go Fund, which received a $30,000 grant from Kessler Foundation. With the grant, the G.I. Go Fund established a job training and work-at-home employment program for veterans with disabilities. Thanks to the program, 50 veterans with disabilities were hired as home-based customer-service representatives by PSE&G and other major companies. Versions of the article appeared in The Record and The Star-Ledger.
