A Virtual Reality Oculomotor Exercise for Restoring Functional Vision After Head Trauma

The purpose of the study is to better understand the brain mechanisms of visual problems after a traumatic brain injury. The study will involve completing online surveys, paper-based assessments, and an MRI scan. Some participants will be selected for a virtual reality session.

The study can be completed in about 6 hours or less over the course of 1-3 days.

Inclusion Criteria
  • 19-60 years old
  • Diagnosed with a moderate-to-Severe TBI
  • TBI acquired more than 1 year ago
  • Able to undergo an MRI scan
  • Read and speak English fluently.
Compensation

$75 for completing the MRI and paper-based assessments and an additional $75 if the participant is invited to the VR Session.
