This study evaluates the effects of epidural stimulation of the spinal cord on cardiovascular (blood pressure regulation) function, voluntary movement of the legs and trunk, and standing/weight bearing in individuals with spinal cord injury.

Participation lasts 12-24 months.
Inclusion Criteria
- 18 years of age and older
- have a spinal cord injury that occurred at least 2 years ago and is not getting worse
- in stable condition
- unable to voluntarily move legs at the hip, knee and ankle joints
- unable to stand independently
- have cardiovascular dysfunction either presence of persistent resting low blood pressure, autonomic dysreflexia, low blood pressure due to postural changes and/or fluctuating blood pressure within a 24-hour period.
