Studying Brain Connections in Pediatric Autism

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between brain function and how symptoms are expressed in children with autism. The study seeks to evaluate how symptoms of autism vary in children. Participants will complete paper and pencil tests and receive and MRI scan. Participants have the opportunity to practice scanning in a "mock MRI scanner" designed to mimic the MRI experience.

Two visits. First visit is 2.5-3 hours and second visit is 1.5 hours. 

Inclusion Criteria
  • Children who have autism age 5-18
  • Control participants age 5-18 who have not been diagnosed with any neurological conditions, learning disorders, or mental health disorders. 

Participants who complete the study will receive $200 in gift cards.
