The purpose of this study is to provide information which may help improve the treatment, care, and outcomes of people with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Information collected will be used by researchers to examine the course of long-term recovery after traumatic brain injury and to develop and evaluate innovative services that address identified needs for service coordination and community programs for persons with traumatic brain injury.
Enrollment is open to individuals who receive inpatient care at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation following a TBI. Participation will continue as long as the project is funded by NIDILRR (5 years or more). Participants are interviewed while receiving inpatient care at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation and again after 1 year, 2 years, 5 years and every fifth year thereafter. Each interview will last 30-60 minutes.

Participants receive $35.00 for each follow-up interview completed.
