Improving Memory and Learning in TBI

The purpose of this research study is to investigate the effectiveness of a memory enhancement technique in people with TBI.

Participants will complete a screening evaluation via an online platform, such as Zoom to determine eligibility (approximately 45 mins), 3 testing sessions (2-3 hours each), 2 MRI sessions (75 minutes each), and intervention sessions meeting twice a week for 4 weeks (45 minutes each). Participation lasts approximately 8 months.

All sessions (excluding MRI sessions) can be completed via an online platform such as Zoom, unless the participant prefers to meet in person.

Inclusion Criteria
  • 18-65 years of age.
  • Have a TBI that occurred at least one year ago. 
  • Read and speak English fluently.
  • Have difficulties with learning and memory skills.
