In collaboration with the East Orange VA, researchers at Kessler Foundation are using brain imaging to examine physical and cognitive fatigue in Gulf War veterans.

  • Examination of Cognitive Fatigue in Gulf War Illness (GWI) Using Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI)

    The overall study objective is to understand the interaction of physical and cognitive fatigue and how this interaction is affected by Gulf War Illness (GWI).

    Participation involves exercise testing, autonomic response testing, a blood sample drawing, and 2 MRI scans.
