Examining Learning Performance in People with Spinal Cord Injury Using MRI

The purpose of this research study is to learn about different types of memory abilities in people who have a spinal cord injury (SCI) and how those abilities relate to brain functioning. 

Actively Recruiting

Participation lasts approximately 4-5 hours. Participants will complete an MRI scan (1.5 hours) and tests of thinking skills outside the scanner (approximately 2 hours).

If needed, the study can be divided into 2 visits. 

Inclusion Criteria
  • Individuals with a diagnosis of Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) or healthy volunteers
  • Aged 18-64
  • Right-handed
  • Able to read and speak English fluently 

Participants who complete the study receive $150.
