The Effects of Effort on Fatigue and Brain Activity in TBI

This study examines how patterns of brain activity relate to cognitive fatigue, which is a feeling of exhaustion and inability to perform thinking-related activities.

Duration

Participants receive one Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan and Electroencephalogram (EEG) (1 hour) and complete tests of thinking skills (2-3 hours).

Inclusion Criteria
  • 18-65 years of age
  • Diagnosed with moderate to severe Traumatic Brain Injury or are a healthy volunteer
  • No history of depression.
