The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of Tysabri (Natalizumab) on cognitive fatigue in people with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS).
Note*** Participants with RRMS must be patients at RWJ Barnabas Health.
Participation lasts approximately 6 months. To determine eligibility, participants complete a screening visit lasting approximately 20 minutes. Once enrolled, participants complete two sessions:
Session 1: fMRI session (75 minutes) followed by paper and pencil tests (3 hours). This session can be split up into two separate visits if needed.
Session 2: 6 month follow-up fMRI session (75 minutes) followed by paper and pencil tests (3 hours). Participants may be asked to complete questionnaires prior to this visit.
- Individuals diagnosed with RRMS who have been prescribed Tysabri by their medical doctor
- 18-64 years of age
- speak and read English fluently
