You Can Make a Difference on Brain Injury Awareness Day

Today as we celebrate Brain Injury Awareness Day, we share the story of Debbie Grosser, a brain injury survivor.

Ten years ago, Debbie’s life almost ended when she fell down a steep stairwell and sustained a traumatic brain injury. Thanks to the support of our donors, she received unparalleled care advanced by the groundbreaking research at Kessler Foundation.

Despite TBI, Debbie’s focus was clear—she would work hard to live fully again and give back generously. Debbie has lived through 21 surgeries and during that time wrote her memoir, Never Take for Granted, and established her own foundation to provide funding for TBI research. She is determined to support Kessler Foundation’s cutting-edge research to ensure everyone living with TBI gets a second chance.

You, too, can make a difference and advance brain injury research. Your support will maximize recovery, independence, and inclusion for people with disabilities.
