International Rights for Persons with Disabilities Op-Ed by Rodger DeRose Published in "The Hill"

Read the November 13th op-ed, "Why we need to pass the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities," by Kessler Foundation's President and Chief Executive Officer Rodger DeRose, published in The Hill—the congressional daily paper. In the op-ed, DeRose cites civil rights for individuals worldwide; increased international accessibility for Americans with disabilities, including veterans, so they can work, study, and travel abroad; exporting products overseas; and maintaining American leadership as reasons that the United States Senate should ratify the international treaty on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
