This Fourth of July, You Can Maximize Independence, Recovery, and Inclusion

Today as we celebrate the Fourth of July, we share the story of Andy Napolitano, a father, TBI survivor, and Kessler Foundation research participant.

In 2010, Andy climbed a ladder to inspect a broken delivery bay door and fell 15 feet to a concrete floor below, sustaining a near-fatal traumatic brain injury. By participating in Kessler Foundation’s rehabilitation research, Andy is helping to improve outcomes for fellow TBI survivors and learning to exercise parts of his brain and body that were affected by his injury.

By making a gift today, you maximize independence, recovery, and inclusion for people like Andy and advance rehabilitative care.
