Foundation's Spatial Neglect Research Featured by Neurology Reviews

Peii Chen, PhD, interviewed on findings in TBI population

August 14, 2014. Neurology Reviews, a publication of the American Academy of Neurology, features Kessler Foundation research “In the Spotlight.” Research Scientist Peii Chen, PhD, was interviewed about the Foundation’s research in spatial neglect after traumatic brain injury (TBI). Spatial neglect, known as a disabling condition that impedes recovery after stroke, has been found to occur after TBI. Further research is needed to determine the mechanisms involved after TBI, and test interventions that have been developed for individuals with stroke.
