Kessler Foundation announces the Winter 2013 issue of TBI News & Views, a consumer newsletter of the Northern New Jersey Traumatic Brain Injury System (NNJTBIS). Read how Anna Nicasio continues to overcome challenges to find independence, get updated on the latest TBI research and news, learn brain injury health information, and discover how to stay active and enjoy your favorite activities after an injury.

Nancy Chiaravalloti, PhD, is project director of the NNJTBIS, which is a cooperative effort of Kessler Foundation, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation, and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in Newark. The NNJTBIS is supported by grant #H133A120030 from the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, US Department of Education, Washington, DC.

Kessler Foundation is one of eight centers in the nation to have dual model systems in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.
