Associate Research Scientist
Einat Engel-Haber, MD, is an associate research scientist in the Tim and Caroline Reynolds Center for Spinal Stimulation at Kessler Foundation. Dr. Engel-Haber’s medical degree from Tel Aviv University, Israel, specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation. She also has a BSc in computer sciences, mathematics from Tel Aviv University.
Dr. Engel-Haber’s research focuses on improving the lives of individuals with spinal cord injury (SCI). Her main interests are characterization and classification of SCI, prediction of neurological and functional outcomes following SCI, and above all – neurorehabilitation. This includes various studies in the field of spinal cord stimulation, a novel technology for restoration of movement and autonomic function following SCI.
