Fan Zhang, PhD

Fan Zhang received his Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University in 2015. Currently, he is an Associate Research Scientist at the Tim and Caroline Reynolds Center for Spinal Stimulation at Kessler Foundation in New Jersey and an affiliated Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School. His primary research interests include investigating human motor control system, developing advanced rehabilitation and assistive technologies, and applying these innovative approaches for improving and restoring mobility and function in individuals with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal diseases and injuries.
