Donating stock or other appreciated assets is a powerful way to support rehabilitation research while potentially avoiding capital gains taxes.

 

Give From Your IRA

A Tax-Smart Way to Give

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA. Such a gift may be excluded from taxable income and, for those age 73 or older, may count toward required minimum distributions.
