When you request a matching gift, you double the reach of your generosity. Many employers will match your donation, helping expand rehabilitation research and programs that create more opportunities for people with disabilities.

Matching Gift FAQ

A matching gift is a program in which employers match donations made by their employees—often dollar for dollar—at no additional cost to you.

You can use the employer search tool on this page to see if your company participates and review their specific guidelines.

After making your donation:

  • Search for your employer
  • Follow your company’s matching gift process (usually an online form)
  • Submit your request

Your employer will then review and send the matching gift directly to Kessler Foundation.

Eligibility varies by company, but most match:

  • Donations made by employees
  • Full-time or part-time staff contributions
  • Sometimes retiree or spouse gifts

Check your employer’s guidelines for details.

Most employers match:

  • Personal donations made by credit card, check, or payroll deduction

Some companies may also match gifts made through donor-advised funds or volunteer-related contributions.

Deadlines vary by employer. Many companies allow submissions within several months of making your gift. We recommend submitting your request as soon as possible
