Salary:  $43,900

The primary focus is supporting participant enrollment, data collection, and data analysis for several survey and qualitative projects and to work collaboratively with senior scientists in the enrollment of research participants and implementation of efficient data management and analytic strategies. Additional responsibilities of the position include supporting the interpretation of study findings and preparation of results for dissemination. Qualified candidates should have experience with interviewing, data management, qualitative and/or statistical analyses, and scientific writing.

Responsibilities include
  • Conduct all aspects of participant enrollment, including identifying, tracking, and obtaining consent from potential study participants.
  • Interview study participants according to research protocols.
  • Coordinate data collection and manage study databases.
  • Perform applicable qualitative coding and descriptive statistical data analysis under the direction of senior scientific staff.
  • Provide support to project dissemination activities as directed.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant applications (including the preparation of supporting documents, editing of proposals and literature reviews, etc.).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in psychology, nursing, health science field, behavioral science, social science, and/or public health, or a related discipline, or master’s degree in the social or health sciences (i.e., Sociology, Psychology, Public Health, Public Policy).
  • Previous experience in the use of qualitative (e.g., NVivo) and/or statistical (e.g., Stata, SPSS) software.
  • Demonstrated experience in data management with a variety of data sources (survey, administrative, and medical data).
  • Experience with descriptive statistical analysis.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) skills, preferably in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational skills enabling effective collaboration with senior scientific staff.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Experience working in a medical environment and/or working with persons with disabilities.
