Home-Based Walking Exercise for Cognition in Adults with Multiple Sclerosis

This study compares the effects of two, home-based, walking programs on thinking ability in adults with MS. One program involves 2-3 days per week of light-to-moderate intensity walking, and the other program involves 3-5 days per week of moderate-to-vigorous intensity exercise. Both programs are based on the physical activity guidelines for adults with MS.

Each program involves 12 months of home-based walking exercise while wearing a Fitbit tracker. All participants receive periodic check-ins with a personalized exercise coach via Zoom.
