Angela Smith, MA

Angela Smith is the Senior Research Coordinator in the Center for Neuropsychology and Neuroscience Research where she is responsible for subject recruitment and screening, submission of IRB documentation, and data management for ongoing studies in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Multiple Sclerosis (MS). She assists with hiring/training of new research assistants and provides administrative support for state and federal grant submissions. Ms. Smith is also the Dissemination Coordinator for the Northern NJ TBI Model Systems (NNJTBIS) where she is involved with consumer conference planning and the tri-annual publication of the NNJTBIS consumer newsletter. For the last nineteen years, she has served as race director for the Kessler Foundation Wheelchair 10K.  Prior to her current position, Ms. Smith was the Outpatient Fitness Coordinator in the Health and Fitness Center at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. Her research background includes the Army Research Institute for Environmental Medicine in Natick, MA and the Sport Laboratory for People with Disabilities at the University of Connecticut.
