Wasayef Bsharat is a research assistant in the Center for Traumatic Brain Injury Research at Kessler Foundation. She began her career at the Foundation as an intern while attending university. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology with a triple minor in Arabic, neuroscience, and cognitive science from Montclair State University, Montclair, NJ and is currently completing a Master's degree in clinical psychology. Wasayef has assessment and intervention experience within neurodivergent and neurological populations centered on improving their quality of life through a strength-based trauma informed lens. Her clinical background extends through crisis counseling, group counseling, and case management within hospital settings, clinical research, and private practices.
