Sofia Hurtado is a research assistant in the Center for Stroke Rehabilitation Research at Kessler Foundation. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rutgers University-Newark, New Jersey. While attending school, she worked in the Animal Cognition Lab with Michael Shiflett, PhD, to analyze rodent behavior using various mechanisms such as operant conditioning chambers.
