Angela Smith is a community engagement specialist at Kessler Foundation. In collaboration with the Communications and Development teams, she builds and sustains relationships between the Foundation and the populations we serve. Angela promotes opportunities for organizations and individuals with lived experience of disability to actively engage in research, programs, and outreach initiatives.

Angela also works with the Center for Spinal Cord Injury Research to support SCI-focused outreach and community programs. In this role, she coordinates caregiver peer mentoring, remote and in-person events, and other initiatives that strengthen engagement and support for individuals living with SCI and their caregivers.
