Speed of Processing Training to Improve Cognition in TBI and MCI

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of a technique designed to help people with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) or Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) increase their processing speed and ability to function better in everyday life. 

Actively Recruiting

Participation lasts approximately 8 months. Participants will complete initial baseline testing of thinking skills. Participants are then randomly assigned to one of two computer-based training groups that meet twice a week for 5 weeks and complete short-term and long-term follow-up testing.

Inclusion Criteria
  • Individuals aged 18-70.
  • According to your neurologist or neuropsychologist, you meet the criteria for MCI or have a diagnosis of TBI. 

Participants who complete the study receive $225.
