Robotic Exoskeleton Therapy on Mobility and Cognition in MS

This study examines the usefulness of a wearable robotic exoskeleton device to improve learning, memory, and walking in people with MS.

Participants are enrolled in either group conventional physical therapy or group robotic therapy 2x a week for 8 weeks. There is follow-up testing after weeks 4 and 8 of training 

Inclusion Criteria
  • Individuals diagnosed with progressive MS. 
  • 18-75 years of age. 
  • Able to walk with the assistance of a cane/crutch or walker.
  • Have some cognitive disability.
  • No history of neurological illness other than MS.
