This research aims to test aspects of a computer-based cognitive rehabilitation program designed to improve thinking skills in individuals with TBI, particularly improving the ability to remember to do things in the future.
If you participate, you'll complete baseline testing (3-4 hours), 3 sessions over 16 weeks (90 minutes each), and follow-up testing (3-4 hours). Some participants will complete 2 sessions per week over the 16 week period (1 hour each).
Participants have the option to complete most of their sessions from home, including treatment sessions using a home computer. If you choose to do virtual sessions, you will still be asked to complete 5 in-person assessments at Kessler Foundation over a period of 18 weeks.
- Individuals who have sustained a moderate-severe traumatic brain injury
- 18-59 years of age
- No diagnosis of psychiatric conditions or history of drug or alcohol abuse.
Participants who complete the study will receive up to $270.
