This study examines the effect of an emotional processing training program in individuals with TBI.
This study can be completed remotely and does not require in-person visits.
Participation lasts for 8 weeks. Participants will complete initial baseline testing of thinking and emotional skills and an optional fMRI and eye-tracking scan. Participants are then randomly assigned to one of two training groups that meet twice a week for 6 weeks and complete follow-up testing.
All sessions can be completed via an online platform such as Zoom, unless the participant prefers to meet in person.
- Individuals with traumatic brain injury.
- Aged 18-65.
- No neurological illness other than TBI.
Participants who complete the study will receive $200 for their time. Participants who qualify for the fMRI scans and decide to participate will receive an additional $200. Participants who qualify for the eye tracking scans will receive an additional $100.
