Computerized Intervention to Improve Balance Dysfunction in TBI

This study examines a computerized biofeedback intervention as a treatment for balance difficulties in TBI. Visits include balance tests, physical measures, and cognitive tests.


Participation lasts 8-10 weeks. Participants will complete 2 baseline testing sessions in the first week, 2 follow-up testing sessions during week 5, and 2 follow-up testing sessions during week 9. Some study participants will be asked to attend only 2 baseline testing visits and not return for follow-up visits. 

Inclusion Criteria
  • Individuals diagnosed with TBI (mild, moderate, or severe) who are at least 6 months post injury or healthy volunteer.
  • 18-65 years of age. 
  • Able to stand unsupported for 5 minutes.
  • Medically stable for 3 months prior to study enrollment.
