Complementary and Integrative Healthcare (CIH) Use by People with SCI

The purpose of this study is to gather information regarding usage of Complementary and Integrative Healthcare (CIH) used by people with SCI. Researchers are interested in examining the barriers and facilitators to usage of CIH by people with SCI. CIH includes products (e.g. herbs, vitamins, and cannabis) and practices (yoga, massage, and special diets). 


Participants complete a survey over the phone lasting approximately 30 minutes.

Inclusion Criteria
  • Individuals with a traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI) who are participants in the Northern New Jersey Spinal Cord Injury System.
