Examining Cognitive and Physical Fatigue in Traumatic Brain Injury

This study examines brain and behavioral changes during thinking and physical tasks in individuals with TBI. Participants perform exercise tests using an exercise bike, receive two magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and complete tests of thinking skills and questionnaires.

3 visits to Kessler Foundation in West Orange, NJ, spaced no more than 4 weeks apart (2.5 hours each).

Inclusion Criteria
  • 18-65 years of age
  • Diagnosed with moderate or severe TBI
  • Right-handed
  • Speak and read English
  • Individuals who fit above criteria and do not have a TBI or other neurological conditions
Compensation

Up to $200 for completing the study & reimbursement for travel
