Kessler Foundation is seeking proposals from qualified public or non-profit teams experienced in survey research and design to conduct a comprehensive survey on the employment status of working age persons (18-64) with disabilities. The project is expected to begin on or about June 1, 2014 and must be completed by April 30, 2015. Extending the period of performance is not permitted.
The objective of this nationally representative survey is to inform the general public, disability advocates, business community, government, funders and others on the status of employment for individuals with disabilities. This information can be used for research, employment recruitment and hiring, policy development and grantmaking. Candidates are expected to design the survey instrument, sampling and data collection methodologies, select or acquire survey samples, collect, process and analyze data, and prepare a written report of survey results.
Survey results will be released publicly in July 2015 for the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
